While actual deployment of a ZPC was not able to reach true zero point waste of energy usage, the amount of energy drawn, and then recycled back before entropy took too much out of the used energy, was where the limitless energy application, came to it's true own. (Even economics, as one reasoning to the Avian Lords,) Instead of creating devices to siphon energy from other Universes, all extensional of their own right, ZPC units were made to draw from several forms of 'limitless' subspace energies, that had a tendency to regenerate themselves endlessly. However no battery was efficient enough for truly long term use, as the Ascendants came to understand such things. At the time, the energy was derived from the knowledge that ZPM units already had 'separated', battery like Universes, created within them.

The vessel at the time, was the most advanced vessel in their region of space, due in no small part to the newly christened Zero-Point Energy concept. The original core A-SSD itself, the Eternal Destiny was named after the Excellency's own foresight of his people, and the future that they held before them. By the time everything was relatively understood, it was easily realized that they had a vessel that could easily be used as a weapon of terror, not of mention sheer intimidation, (or just a laughing stock, by other unimaginative civilizations.) The Excellency realized this, and quickly incorporated the mindset of the Ascendancy, into the operations of all parameters, of these mighty vessels. This was also the nascent time, that the Fold Drive, ZPC Cores, and dozens of other major technological standards, were unlocked, during the study of these monoliths. Several more discoveries have been made of this area, eventually called the Nebulae Cache Expanse.ДЄfter the vessel (and it's sister vessels) were transported to the original White Diamond System, it took the assistance of the creator Ascendants themselves, and over a decade, to understand the vessel and all it's properties. The uses were as frightening to comprehend, as it was at the time, this was discovered.) However since then, the nebulae expanse had been absorbed into the Empire-Republic, during the Third Great Expansion. (Apparently even stationary complexes of Ascendant nature, had emergency Fold JumpDrives installed.

After a series of highly cryptic communiques, The Ascendant Dock transported enmasse, and with it, several other massive vessels of nearly equal size, from some two Parsecs away from the nascent Ascendancy, at the time. The entire complex hidden within a thick nebulae expanse, during an uncertain exploration mission. The series of vessels were found, sitting in an Ascendant created Dock, one over tens times the size of this monolithic vessel. Of them all, the five hundred kilometer masterpiece in warship design and construction, was only possible to the Ascendancy, because it was prebuilt over a billion years prior to the Gaian Ascendancy's existence.

They are the single most awe inspiring, empowerment shattering examples of the creations of the Ascendants.
